By air to Oslo Airport Gardermoen
The international airport Oslo Airport Gardermoen is situated 50 km from Oslo City Centre.
Transport free of charge from the airport to Oslo
The FOREST EUROPE Ministerial Conference aims at being an environmentally friendly conference, and encourage our participants to travel with the train.
In cooperation with the Airport Express Train, the organisers of the Ministerial Conference offer participants arriving on 13 June, and in the morning of 14 June, transport free of charge from the airport to Oslo. Tickets for the train are obtained from a Ministerial Conference information booth outside the customs area at Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
The Airport Express Train departs every 10 minutes and will take you from the airport to Oslo Central Station in 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Oslo Central Station, there will be a welcome desk that can direct the participants to the hotel shuttle bus which will bring you comfortably to the conference hotels.
The ticket is valid also for travels to the Nationaltheatret (National Theatre) station, which is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from the conference hotels. Please note that the Airport Express Train to the National Theatre departs only every 20 minutes.

Airport Express Bus
The airport express bus (SAS Flybussen) departs from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel (the Conference venue) every 20 minutes every day. The fare is NOK 140 / EUR 18 one way, and the conference hotels are the last stop on the route. This fare is not covered by the organisers. Website Flybussen: www.flybussen.no/.
By train
Comfortable, modern trains link Oslo with other Scandinavian cities. Norwegian National Rail (NSB) takes you from Gothenburg to Oslo and Swedish Rail (SJ) takes you from Malmö and Stockholm to Oslo. Please see www.nsb.no and www.sj.se for more information and timetables.
